Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatments need not wait until adolescence or adulthood. In fact, early-stage orthodontics is where we shine.

Orthodontics: A Background

Orthodontics is a field of dentistry concerned with the alignment and positioning of teeth and their influence on oral and facial structure. Incorrect jaw development and dental misalignment can affect facial, respiratory, and speech development in children—which, by extension, can affect confidence. At C4AD, we take a proactive approach to orthodontics, striving to identify any myofunctional or airway issues from birth onwards—it’s never too early!

An Orthodontic Education

Dr Linda Steinberg, C4AD’s principal dentist, has been studying and attending courses for over 10 years so that she can deliver early intervention and traditional orthodontic treatments to patients of all ages. She has completed a graduate diploma in orthodontics, which has enriched her knowledge and practices. She can now identify and diagnose orthodontic issues in patients, as well as develop appropriate treatment plans. Her passion lies in the early identification of myofunctional and airway issues and the measures we can take to stop them from impacting oral, facial, and even behavioural or scholastic development in childhood.

At C4AD, we perform premium X-ray and imaging services in-house to streamline all orthodontic work. We can begin treatment as early as age seven or eight, depending on the child's physical growth pattern.
