For Patients

Welcome to the Centre for Advanced Dentistry—or C4AD for short! As a holistic dentist in Glen Huntly, we take a patient-centred approach and want you to feel at home in our dental chair. Please take a moment to go through the following information which will help make your appointment journey smoother.

We can’t wait to see you and help you achieve better oral health and smile.

Planning Your Visit

Our dental practice is conveniently located at 1064 Glen Huntly Road, Glen Huntly, Melbourne. You can find our modern practice directly opposite the historic Booran Reserve on Glenhuntly Road, offering easy tram and train access and plenty of surrounding parking for our patient community.

The practice is fitted with ramp access and an elevator: one of the many ways we are committed to making quality dental care accessible to our wider community.

We have a dedicated car park available behind our clinic building, which can be accessed via the laneway off Booran Road (behind Hendricks Cafe). Alternatively, street parking is also available right in front of the clinic entrance.
Our dental clinic is just about a minute walk from tram stop 58 (Booran Rd/Glen Huntly Rd). If you’re travelling by train, we’re about an 8-minute walk from Glen Huntly Railway Station.

Your First Visit

After you have booked your appointment, either online or via a phone call, we will send an email and SMS to confirm your appointment.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our friendly front office team members. We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your first appointment. This allows sufficient time to complete your pre-appointment form, which helps us get to know you and develop a tailored treatment plan. The form includes questions about your dental history, current concerns, and general medical history.

We also encourage you to bring any previous dental records or X-rays, if available.

During the Appointment

During your appointment, your dentist or oral health therapist will begin by discussing your concerns and what you are hoping to achieve. We may also take scans for assessment and dental records. Based on our findings, we will explain your treatment options if any issues are identified, and either proceed with treatment or schedule it for a later date if you choose to go ahead. We will also take the time to talk you through the procedure so you feel fully informed at every stage.

Our surgery rooms are equipped with a TV and noise-cancelling headphones so you can enjoy a range of programs or music while we tend to your treatment.

Helping You Feel Relaxed During Treatment

At C4AD, we offer nitrous oxide sedation (commonly known as laughing gas) to help patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during dental treatment. Delivered through a small mask placed over the nose, nitrous oxide produces a calming effect while allowing you to remain awake and responsive throughout your procedure.

Dental anxiety is common, and our team understands that past experiences or fear of treatment can make visiting the dentist difficult. Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective option for many patients, helping to reduce anxiety and create a more positive dental experience. If you feel nervous about your appointment or are undergoing a more complex procedure, we can discuss whether sedation is suitable for you and ensure you feel fully prepared and supported.

Cancellation Policy

To provide our patients with the highest quality of care and timely appointments, we pre-block a dedicated time specifically for you. We request that our patients arrive in a timely manner and adhere to our cancellation policy as follows:

Notice Period: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ prior notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Failure to notify on time or in the event of a missed appointment, a nominal cancellation fee may apply.

Payments & Financing

At C4AD, we make it easy to look after your dental care. We process all major health insurance claims on the spot through HICAPS, and we’re a preferred provider for HCF and the More for Teeth program. We also accept CDBS, DVA, VGDS and VEDS vouchers.

If you’d prefer to spread the cost of treatment, we offer flexible payment options through Afterpay, so you can manage your care in a way that suits your budget.
